Integrations are the bridge between Moonshadow and the tools your team already uses. When you connect an integration, Moonshadow starts receiving events from that tool in real time. You can then route those events into notifications, automation rules, or your own systems via webhooks.

What Is an Integration?

An integration is a authenticated connection to an external service. Once connected, Moonshadow subscribes to activity from that service, such as new issues, pull requests, alerts, or messages. Each event is normalized into a common format so you can handle everything consistently, regardless of which tool it came from.

Supported Integrations

Moonshadow supports connections to the most popular developer and operations tools: New integrations are added regularly. Check the dashboard for the full catalog.

Connecting an Integration

Most integrations use OAuth so you do not need to manage tokens manually.
1

Open the Integrations page

Inside your workspace, navigate to Settings > Integrations.
2

Choose a provider

Select the tool you want to connect from the list of supported integrations.
3

Authorize via OAuth

Click Connect and authorize Moonshadow through the provider’s OAuth flow. You will be redirected back when complete.
4

Configure event preferences

Choose which events you want Moonshadow to receive. You can refine these later.
For integrations that do not support OAuth, such as some self-hosted tools, you can provide an API key or webhook URL directly in the integration settings.

Integration Status

Each integration displays a status indicator in the dashboard:

Disconnecting an Integration

To remove an integration, open its detail page in the dashboard and click Disconnect. This stops all event ingestion immediately and invalidates any associated tokens. Existing events and automations that reference the integration remain in your history, but new events will not be processed.
Disconnecting an integration cannot be undone. You will need to reauthorize from scratch if you want to reconnect.
